May 3rd Peach State BPOC Car Show
Our club was well represented at this show with nine beautiful Allantes’. Several of us came in on Friday night and enjoyed a fun time at Ray’s on the River. Saturday morning the weather was very uncooperative with light to heavy rain showers throughout the day. It didn’t dampen the spirits of the participants however. The rock n roll music played on and the umbrellas came out as people strolled along admiring and voting on the various classes of cars. In our group Ken Gresham won 1st Place, John Nash, 2nd Place and Norman Penfield 3rd Place. Several in the group won door prizes as well. After the awards, we gathered in the bar at the Marriott for drinks and more car talk. We went to dinner at Aspens and that was a real treat! Next morning we met for breakfast before we went our separate ways looking forward to next month in Charleston, S.C. Did we mention, no one went hungry?!?
