Breakfast & Auction

Breakfast & Auction At The Piccadilly

Over 25 members braved the cold temperatures to attend our February breakfast meeting and auction. After breakfast and a short business meeting to update members on upcoming events, treasurer report and other club business, the auction began. What a fun time! Even if you didn’t win a bid or find anything you needed, it was a great time of fellowship just listening and watching. Norman as auctioneer in training and Paula as display assistant kept the items moving. Everyone was a good sport, and pleased for whomever won the bid. There were several generous donations to the club. Several guys walked away with some amazing bargains and handed over the credit card to their wives at the end of the meeting for some quid pro quo retail therapy. Our March activity is to visit Rushton Mills which has something for everyone, including antique car display, car show, shopping and good restaurants in a unique setting. Another great experience to look forward to for the spring.
