Seventeen members of the Allante’ Car Club met for breakfast at the Piccadilly Cafeteria in Marietta. After a delicious buffet breakfast, our President, Norman Penfield, called a business meeting to order.

  Norman announced that the officers of our Club have voted to buy the silver Allante bars offered to us by Ken Kogge, one of the founding members of our club. After concidering legal implications that might arise from future sale of these bars, it was suggested that our Club should consider incorporating before attempting to engage in selling the silver bars on our website or to the Allante National Club. After discussion, a motion was made and seconded to form a committee to incorporate the Allante Atlanta Car Club. Paula Vopelak, Gary Schubert, Steve Williams and Bernice Kniffen agreed to serve on the committee and will report back to the Club.

  Norman Penfield and Bill Cardwell will deliver the payment for the silver bars to Ken Kogge who was unable to attend today.

  Norman Penfield presented those who paid their 2006 dues with an Allante’ Club Calendar, complete with pictures of Club members in their Allante’s and each month’s Club meeting date highlighted. Norman has created enough calendars for each Club member and requested members bring any photographs they have of their cars for future Calendars.

  Paula Vopelak announced our annual winter dinner will be held at Ray’s on the River on Saturday, January 21st, with details to follow. Several events are planned for next year, including tours to Callaway Gardens and Barnsley Gardens.
