Fall Excursion To Forrest Hills Resort

The weather Gods decided to smile on us and what the weatherman had said would be a wet and dreary day turned into a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. It was cool, but the tops were lowered and two pearl white, one pearl red and two black Allantes made their way to the North Georgia mountains for the first Allante’ Atlanta Club outing. The fall colors were as beautiful as the Allantes and many stares and comments followed us all afternoon. We all ate too much (on more than one occasion) and we definitely got our exercise (you cannot drive to the old fort at Fort Mountain State Park so we walked - climbed would be a better word). We stayed in a lodge where there was room for two or three times as many as were present. Everyone had a great time (except maybe during the mountain climb) and the consensus is that this should definitely be a yearly affair. Hope to see all of you in the mountains next year.
