4th of July Allante’ Style
We went to Paula and Russell Vopelak’s spectacular home on Saturday for a 4th of July celebration with a good ol’ time barbecue. Touring their home was quite a treat from the wine cellar to the walk down to the lake. From the patio, we enjoyed seeing many beautiful golden yellow finches and all kinds of plants and flowers. Drinks, hors d’oeuvres and lots of good conversation and laughter highlighted the pre-dinner gathering. It is always such fun catching up with each other and planning our next adventure. We will be right at home next month visiting the zoo. Hope they don’t get us mixed up with the monkeys.
Our dinner was fabulous with barbequed Boston butt, ribs, chicken and all the trimmings. Of course, we spent some time after dinner outside admiring the Allantes, taking pictures and drooling over the Jacksons’ new XLR.
